2、表示时间：

3、表示过程：

4、表示范围、方向：

in sight /size 尺码、面积/height 高度/area 面积/depth 深度/width 宽度/length 长度/quality 质量/quantity 数量/shape 形状；be poor /lacking /weak in 在某方面短缺；be rich in 在某方面富裕；in the world 在世界上；in the corner of 在角落里；in the newspaper 在报纸上(报的内容)，in the picture 在画上(画的内容)，in the tree 在树上(不是树上结的，on the tree 在树上，是树上结的)。

5、表示穿着：

in uniform 穿着制服；in clothes 穿着衣服；in socks 穿着袜子；in shoes 穿着鞋子；in rags 穿着破烂服装；

知识纵深：表示穿戴也可以用“in +颜色”，后面不带衣服类的名词，例如：in red 穿着红衣服；in black 穿着和黑色衣服。wear 也可以表示穿戴，但wear 是动词，in 是介词。
