theebe的来源(theebe的含义)

应该说的是there to be和there be分属两种不同语法层次的语言单位，即短语的there to be和句子的there be。要想弄清there to be 是什么回事，离不开对句式there be 的合理认知。

there be是我们再熟识不过的句式，比如句子 There is a book on the table. 该句其实是倒装语序句子，其正常语序可还原成 A book is there on the table. 虽然在此句式中，there 的具体用法存在着各种不同的看法，但在此我们不妨将其理解成地点副词。那么地点状语on the table就可以看作是对地点副词there的具体解释，它们之间是一种同位关系。句式的倒装不就是对地点副词there的强调吗？使用时间一长，该句便成为一种固定的句式。

而there to be则是非限定动词不定式短语结构，沿用了there be句式的结构形式，即只是将谓语动词形式的be 变成了非谓语动词形式的to be。从句子层次降低为短语层次，势必丧失句子的原有的语法依据，那么there to be用语的语法依据是什么？是的，就是for sb. to do sth.，即由for引导出不定式的逻辑主语。所以there to be的最完整结构应该就是 for there to be，只是for脱离了逻辑主语前的位置，置于there之前，并且实际使用中通常被省略。短语的演化过程如 1)for sth. to be there ~2) there to be for sth. ~3) for there to be sth. ~4) there to be sth.

动词不定式短语there to be和其他的不定式短语一样可以用作各种句子成分。例句如下

1）I don't want there to be any misunderstanding.（谓语动词宾语）

2) Students hate there to be too much homework. （谓语动词hate的宾语）

3) They asked for there to be another meeting. （介词for的宾语）

4) It is impossible for there to be any more chance. （句子主语）

5) Our hope is for there to be a peaceful world. （表语）
