一般现在时 （do/does）

一．含义：（1）表示事物或者人物的特征、状态：

The sea is blue.海是蓝色的

（2）表示经常性或习惯性的动作：

My father gets up early at six everyday.我爸爸每天早上六点起来。

（3）表示客观现实：

The earth travels around the sun.地球绕着太阳转。

二．标志性时间状语：

often；usually；sometimes；always（一直）；never（从不）；every+时间，如：every day、every night、every week、every Sunday、every year；on Sundays、twice a month（两个月一次）、once a week（每周一次）

三．基本结构

1. 肯定句

（1）主语+be动词（am/is/are）+其他 They are new students.他们是新生。

（2）主语+行为动词+其他 I read English every night.我每天晚上读英语。

（注意：当主语是三单（he/she/it或人名）时，动词后加-s或-es。非三单，动词则用原形。Mary likes English. Mary and her sister like English.）
