常用方位介词辨析

一、表示“方位”的 on， in 与 to。

(1)on表示两地是相邻接壤的关系。

China is on the west of DPRK.中国在朝鲜的西部。

(2)in 表示在某一地区内的某方位,属于该范围的。

Beijing is in the north of China.北京在中国的北部。

(3) to表示在某一地区外的某方位,不属于该范围且不接壤。

Guangdong lies to the south of Henan.广东在河南的南边。

二、表示“在……上”的 over，above 与 on。

(1) over 强调某一物体在另外物体的正上方,属垂直关系,但不接触。

There was a lamp hanging over the table.桌子上方吊着一盏灯。

(2) above泛指在上方,不强调垂直关系,而且两个物体不接触。

Raise your arms above your head.把你的手臂举过头顶。

(3)on 指在上面,而且两个物体有接触面。

I can see a computer on the desk.我看到书桌上有一台电脑。

三、表示“在……下方”的 under 与 below。

(1)under 可以是 on 的反义词,也可以是 over 的反义词,表示正下方。

The cat is under the chair. 这只猫在椅子下面。

(2)below是above的反义词,不一定表示正下方。

There are a lot of fishes below the surface of the water. 水面下有许多鱼。

fish表示“鱼的种类”时,是可数名词,变复数加-es;指“鱼肉”时,为不可数名词,无复数形式。

四、后接地点的 at 与 in。

(1)at 后接较小的地点。

They arrived at the airport just now.他们刚刚到达机场。

(2)in 后接较大的地点。

Tina has been in China for many years.蒂娜在中国已经很多年了。

五、between 和 among 的区别。表示多者的两两之间,也用between。

介词 between 表示“在两者之间”,而 among 表示“在三者或多者之中”。

Mr. Brown is standing between Mary and Emma. 布朗先生站在玛丽和艾玛之间。

We often exercise between classes in the day. 在白天的课与课之间我们经常锻炼。

There is a beautiful house among the trees. 在树林中有一座漂亮的房子。

六、in front of 与 in the front of 的区别。

in front of 和 只差一个定冠词 the,但用法不同:

in front of 意为“在……的前面”,表示在某范围外部的前面;

in the front of 意为“在……的前面”,表示在某范围内部的前面。

The pine tree lies in front of the classroom. 松树在教室的前面。

The desk is in the front of the classroom. 书桌在教室的前面。

七、in the tree 与 on the tree 的区别。

in the tree 和 on the tree 都可表示“在树上”,但用法不同:

in the tree 一般指本身不是树上的事物,

on the tree一般指树上本身长的东西。

I can see some birds in the tree. 我能看到树上有一些鸟。

There are some pears on the tree. 树上有一些梨。

八、in the wall 与 on the wall 的区别。

in the wall 表示嵌在墙里,而 on the wall 表示在墙的表面。

There is a hole in the wall. 墙上有个洞。

There is a map on the wall. 墙上有一幅地图。

There are two windows in the wall. 墙上有两扇窗。

九、“在太阳下”用 in the sun,

“在某人的帮助下”用 with one&39;t read in the sun.别在太阳下看书。

With the teacher&39;s help=with the help of sb.“在某人的帮助下”
